Alaska Naturalist Organizations
Because of the size of the state of Alaska and the difficulty of travel, Alaskans were quick to adopt the internet as the main tool for communication. Listservers allow the distribution of information (text, sound or images ) to a select group of people with similar interest and function also as a bulletin board. It is an exciting time for naturalists. Anyone with access to a phone and a computer has now access to many virtual collections and libraries
Each organization has its own website where you will find detailed information.
